General project objective:
Establishing a sustainable and impactful European digital innovation hub in the Republic of Moldova, offering tailored services to support the digital transformation of businesses and public organisations. At the same time, the hub will connect Moldova to the European EDIH network.
Main activities of DIH of Moldova:
- Strengthening national innovation ecosystems;
- Testing technologies prior to investment;
- Building digital skills across the public and private sectors;
- Facilitating access to national and European funding.
Hygia involvement:
We are engaged in this project on two complementary levels: the expertise built through our work in Romania, and a direct on-the-ground presence through our Chișinău-based team - Hygia Consult.
We have drawn on our experience in developing and managing a strong portfolio of European-funded projects, as well as on first-hand involvement in an operational EDIH - TEDIHT (The European Digital Innovation Hub in Transylvania). Building on these lessons learned, we contributed to shaping the action plan for the Digital Innovation Hub of Moldova.
During the implementation phase, our Chișinău team will work directly with the beneficiary companies and public organisations.
