General project objective:

Creation of a European Strategic Partnership for Clusters in order to enhance inter-regional cooperation of clusters in the field of furniture and related industries in the EU and to four third-party countries: USA, Canada, South Africa and Egypt. The partnership will be a promoter of industrial growth and business growth, it will support excellence, entrepreneurship, transferability and mutual trust between partners and partner SMEs.

Hygia involvement:

  • development of the project idea and the composition of the strategic partnership, attracting financing, project management;
  • implementation activities: Feasibility study in order to open an international office to host international delegations in the furniture industry, organization of economic activities and missions in South Africa, communication and dissemination activities, deliverable quality and risk management.
