General project objective:

The EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD project aims to strengthen institutional collaboration and cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.

The project focuses on creating a practical and sustainable working framework by supporting joint initiatives, strengthening administrative and operational capacity, and encouraging knowledge exchange among regional stakeholders. In this context, two funding calls will be launched:

  • Impact Networks, dedicated to cluster organisations, EDIHs and regional development agencies, and
  • Capacity & Innovation, dedicated to public and private entities.

Over the next four years, more than 110 cross-border partnerships will be supported through grants and dedicated services in training, consultancy and innovation.

Hygia involvement:

We were involved in the development of the EUroBRIDGE_UA_MD international initiative from its early stages. Following the project’s approval for funding, we now coordinate training and experience exchange activities for partners in the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

Through our role as a Research Liaison Office - Connect@Hygia, accredited by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, and supported by our office in Chișinău, we are responsible for:

  • Training and mentoring to strengthen institutional capacities;
  • Knowledge transfer to support innovation;
  • Facilitating sustainable regional cooperation between public, private, and research actors.
