Hygia involvement:
Building on the resources of the Transylvanian Furniture Cluster and considering the current context of the Romanian furniture industry, particularly the need to comply with European requirements on sustainability and product traceability (ESPR), as well as the transition towards a circular and digital economy, we initiated this partnership.
We contributed to shaping the project concept and establishing the partnership, within which a collaborative framework for knowledge exchange between the business sector and research organisations will be created.
As project leader, we will coordinate the implementation of the project over the 36-month period, ensuring alignment with the established objectives.
At the same time, we will develop two digital (software) solutions, marking a new stage in the evolution of our activity:
- GreenLoopPass - a solution designed to implement the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and to ensure the traceability of materials, components and the entire product life cycle;
- AutoFurnishFlow - a production-connected configurator that automates the sales-to-production workflow.
