Irina MARCU

Irina joined the team at the end of 2025 and has since been combining creativity with problem solving within Hygia's Research and Development department. She pays close attention to the needs of the people she designs for and turns those needs into useful, easy to use products.

In the projects she works on, she starts by understanding the users and the context in which the solution will be used. She enjoys listening to and understanding different perspectives, thus collaboration, communication and feedback are all part of how she works. She looks to keep a balance between users' needs, project goals and solutions that can actually be put into practice.

Outside work, she draws inspiration from photography, illustration, architecture and travel. She reads, spends time in nature and stays active, and these activities give her the chance to discover new things and look at the same situation from different angles.
